Felicia here, alright? I'm gonna update you guys on our proposal for the international friendship day.
WARNING: THIS IS GOING TO BE A SUPER LONG EMAIL. PLEASE BE PATIENT.

Next, let me tell you guys your groupings. Instead of typing your names out, i'll be typing in your class register no. Easier for me too. Anyways, cos you guys are always confused of your register no., no. 31 is Jasper. So, the rest you should know. (: Please know which committee you are in, and know your job scope. (:
Logistics commitee
There will be two sub committee for logistics ---- Purchasing and carrying stuff.
PURCHASING COMMITTEE: I/C Amin and Jasper

There will be 3 sub committee ------ Booth decoration, Flag decoration and menu card decoration.

LOGISTICS COMMITTEE
Purchasing committee:
1. To purchase ingredients for preparation of food committee and decoration committee, if they want.
2. CHECK ALL INGREDIENTS YOU BUY ARE HALAL!!!!
3. You have to check with the preparation of food committee on what ingredients they need. Specify brand bla bla.
4. Up to this moment, the earliest food to be made is the cookies. They are going to bake the cookies on 6 April 2009.
5. MAKE SURE YOU GUYS BUY THE CHEAPEST OF ALL! WE'VE GOT A BUDGET, FRIENDS!!!
Carrying stuff committee:
1. Suppose to carry the food down from the home econs room to the canteen ASAP!
2. Carry tables and chairs down to the canteen, arrange them into the desired arrangement. I'll brief you guys on the arrangement when time is due. REMIND ME.
DECORATION COMMITTEE:
The planning committee, FELICIA and SIYING decided that we are going to use recycled materials for decoration. Deco committee to bring their own art materials, etc. board will be provided by the planning committee, which is the a4 paper box. We're going to dismantle it, deco team to paste paper or whatever. You choose. (:
Booth deco committee:
1. You guys have to decorate the booth super beautifully so that the customers will come our booth to buy food.
2. TO USE RECYCLED MATERIALS ONLY!!!!
Flag deco committee:
1. To make the SINGAPORE mood out, we're going to print small singapore flags. Use a toothpick to make it, like the USA flag you normally see on burgers.
2. Committee to print out small SINGAPORE flag, wrap it on toothpicks. Then you guys will be poking it into the food before the carry stuff committee rush it down to the canteen.
3. You guys need to print out small 4E5 tags too. We're gonna paste it on the tissue used to wrap the cookies. Will show you guys a sample when time is due. (:
Menu card committee:
1. To make it look as attractive as possible. The food we're selling are below, please check out. The menu are going to be placed at the entrance of our booth, like restaurant type yknow. Customers flip the menu before they decide to go into our booth. Taking into consideration of the crown there will be, i hope that you guys can make to menu short and sweet. One glance, you will know what we're selling, customers do not have to ask what we're selling
2. Make one copy, then photocopy a few. Unless you guys want all to be original.
PREPARATION OF FOOD COMMITTEE:
1. I have already booked the home econs kitchen for you guys, only have not confirmed the date and timing with Miss Siti. Please let me know when you guys are going to cook or bake or do whatever before 3 April 2009.
2. You guys have to be super fast because we are not allowed to be released early to prepare the food, therefore, you guys have to quick, or else by the time you guys are done, the customers have spent all their money on other booths.
3. As we have no sufficient funds to allow you guys for a pre-run, you guys are only allowed to do the food on the day itself. Sorry!
4. Please submit a list of food you need to the Purchasing committee by 5 April 2009.
RUNNING OF BOOTH COMMITTEE:
1. This committee have 2 super important jobs. Firstly, man the booth. Second, HOW TO WOO CUSTOMERS COME?
2. Please assign your members properly. One to collect money upon purchase, one to get order(Hmmm....) One to prepare the food. This is a suggested one.
3. Make sure everyone clear their utensils!!!
4. Remind me to give you guys small change so that you guys can give change to customers.

2. COOKIES WITH ICING ALPHABET 20CENTS EACH COOKIE. (do not write this on menu, trick the people into making icing. Heh.)

4. ROTI PRATA WITH CURRY $1.50
5. SANDWICH WITH MILO DINO $1.20 EACH SET
6. KACANG PUTEH 1 COME FOR $1

8. COCKTAIL 1 CUP FOR $1.50
Listen, because our budget is really tight, and we have already exceeded our budget, like, really a lot, but we are confident that we can earn back our capital. We have decided that we want this event to be successful, therefore, the committee team have planned everything really seriously, we hop that you guys can support us by helping us to do your job well. I have already briefed you guys on your grouping, the job scope, food we're selling, please get yourself familiarize with it. Thank you. Next, i'm going to tell you guys the timeline the committee have came up with. It's going to be a brief one though.
DURING THE MARCH SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, the committee is going to consolidate all the suggestions given by you guys and try improve on the proposal. Then we'll send you guys the FINALISED PROPOSAL via our class email, so please do check the class email for updates. Since you guys know your grouping already, i hope that you guys can gather and discuss everything you guys need to and come out with a super brief proposal and hand it up to either siying or me. We'll discuss it among the committee and either approve it or give suggestions to improve.
After school reopens for term 2, the first lesson of Ace period, the committee will summaries the WHOLE event to the class as a whole. This way, the whole class will know what's going on.
By the way, if any of you were caught not actively participating in this whole event, the committee will not hesitate to submit your name to our home teachers to NOT give you the CIP hours or whatever benefits this event will give you. So, PLEASE, I BEG you guys, PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY!
